AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION

Ben-Gurion International Airport is Israel's main airport, located 51 km (32 miles) from Jerusalem and 16 km (10 miles) from Tel Aviv. The distance between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv is 67 km (42 miles). A shared transfer operated by Diesenhaus-Unitours can be provided from the airport to Jerusalem at a cost of US$30 per person. Passengers will be met inside the arrival hall, drop off at hotels. Possible wait - up to 1 hour. Please reserve this service on the Registration & Accommodation Form no later than September 7. There will be no refund for non-show or cancellation received less than two working days prior to the reserved transfer. In addition, taxis and public transportation are available to all destinations. A private taxi to Jerusalem costs about US$62. The Nesher taxi line, outside the arrival terminal, operates a shuttle service to Jerusalem for about US$13 per person. Drop off at hotels and other stops en-route. Waiting time - unknown. Return ride with Nesher from Jerusalem to the airport, should be reserved at your hotel 1 day in advance.

Visit the most exciting sights of Jerusalem: Mount of Olives, Old City, Jaffa Gate, Jewish Quarter,
Cardo, Western Wall, Via Dolorosa and Yad Vashem. Drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic
view of the city. Enter the Old City through Jaffa Gate and walk through the Jewish Quarter to the
recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman road. See the Jewish Wailing Wall "The Kotel”
and continue to the Christian Quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of the
Holy Sepulchre.

Tour A: Saturday 13.9-Proceed to the Tomb on King David, the room of the Last Supper and the
Dormition Abbey.
Tour B: Thursady 18.9-Proceed to the New City view the Knesset – Israel’s parliament and visit
Yad Vashem – the memorial to the Holocaust.

Drive to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Visit the rock fortress of Massada built by King
Herod the Great, King of Judea during the Roman period. Ascend by cable car and tour this ancient
fortress where the Zealots of the first century made their last stand against the Romans before
committing mass suicide in 73AD. Continue for a relaxing floating adventure on the Dead Sea.
This extremely dense and saline sea, with great concentration of minerals is a world-renowned
attraction for its therapeutic qualities.

Tour E: Biblical Highlights of the north Nazareth, Tiberias, Lower Galilee, Capernaum

Drive to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of the Annunciation
and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue via Cana to Tiberias, the lovely resort town. Drive along the
Sea of Galilee to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue where Jesus taught.
Continue to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves. Continue to Yardenit Baptismal Site,
where the Jordan River leaves the Sea of Galilee towards the Dead Sea.
